(nearly) Snow

15 miles away, and not much of a covering, but finally Skiddaw has a little white stuff, actually, that is probably stretching it - it's most likely a heavy frost!  Far later in the season than normal and it will not last if the sun stays out, but still nice to see ☺️

  1. Beautiful views. According to my photo app, we had snow today three years ago. We went sledging. X

    1. I don't think sledging would work round here at present Jules, it would be more of a mud slide :-)

    1. Hope things are OK in your garden, your plants are so much further along than ours.

  3. I'm sure it's on the way. I watched the weather forecast on TV for tomorrow morning, minus 5 degrees here, brrr. Your photographs are beautiful.

    1. Cheers Eileen, I must have a look at the news sites and see what is happening elsewhere in the country :-)

  4. The weather was really horrible here yesterday, cold, windy and very wet, but in contrast today has been glorious - still cold but a cloudless blue sky, sunshine and so clear I could see over the countryside for miles. Sophie isn't up to walking too far yet though so I couldn't really make the best of it :(

    1. I've been meaning to ask you how Sophie is progressing. It certainly was lovely and bright yesterday.

  5. Nearly snow... That's all that we have gotten so far. But this weekend, we are due a real snow storm. Which is natural. This no-snow, has not been normal.

I love to watch snow fall. From inside a warm home. :-)

    1. You're right, this winter has been too warm. And last summer was too hot . . .

I liked snow when I lived in a ski resort. In England, not so much :-)
