Inversion

Anyone enthusiastic enough to be on top of Skiddaw before 9.00 today would have been rewarded with a fabulous view.

  6. You didn't... did you? WOW. I remember climbing Skiddaw in my teens, enjoyed a hearty meal of blueberries on the way up!

      Picture taken from the garden.
      I can't guarantee that later in the year I won't go up there at dawn though .....☺ (yuk, double negative, shoot the copy editor)
