More Fieldfares

Our lovely visitors back again this morning. Please click to enlarge these sequences if you have a moment.

(look closely at his/her beak!)

And here's something you don't see everyday - a Nuthatch on the sunflower hearts feeder. First picture - incoming from the right.

The photo quality suffers from being taken through windows which could do with a clean - but it's not bad for the end of December!

  1. Lovely photos Bilbo. We often have nuthatches on our sunflower hearts feeder, but I know they're not as common up your way. They're pretty little things, I love them. Is that snow in the background of your fieldfare photos? You have the makings of next year's christmas cards there!

  2. Thanks SewAli, I thought The Lumberjack might enjoy the fieldfare pictures.

Sadly (or gladly) that is not snow - it's the white painted render on the house behind us, but you're right - when it comes to setting up christmas card photos, who would know (and who would care?)

  3. Gorgeous photos Jayne. Hope you and Max have a lovely Christmas. Hope to see you again in 2010. Love Jill

Thank you for leaving comments, I love receiving them; sometimes they are the only way I know I am not talking to myself . . . 😊
