Happy puppy, tired puppy

Quick trip this morning to the sand dunes . . . someone did far more running about than is probably good for her but she was extremely happy.   The tide was out and there was an awful lot of sky, strangely, there wasn't a drop of wind so no waves and almost complete silence - lovely.

Daisy came home, had some food and half a dose of Loxicom and slept all afternoon.  Not a bad life    ☺️

  1. It looks like Daisy was really enjoying herself. Love the 5th photo :)

  2. That's how I like the beach, miles of nothingness and just us and our dog dog enjoying life. Daisy looks very happy. Does she like running between the two of you and back again like Annie does? :)

    1. Yes Eileen, that's exactly what she is doing. We have to minimise it these days though, otherwise she is completely wiped out for days after.

    2. Yes I know, unfortunately Annie barely runs at all any more and it's for the best really. If Annie overdoes it she gets stiff and limps for a few days and we don't want that.

  3. It even looks quiet, if there is such a thing as silence in a photo. So unlike the beaches here at the moment, as they are crowded all summer long. Maybe I should run wild on a beach & I'd sleep better.(lol). Take care.

    1. Hi Kate, we could see she was having fun - a bit like Miss Moss grinning at a muddy puddle (only Daisy is far too dainty and fastidious to go near such a swamp!)

  6. Bless Daisy, she’s a poppet. I can exactly imagine her flopping off to sleep after her exertions. Ted and Pop are just the same. Thank you for your comment about the Buzzard. Really hoping she’ll pull through but you never know with wild things. I’ll keep everyone updated X

    1. Thanks CT, and welcome to Bag End. I don't think Daisy would keep up with the runs that Ted and Pop manage.

Fingers crossed for the Buzzard, never rescued anything that large, but not long after moving here I had a kingfisher with a broken wing, that was a heck of a privilege too. I took her to the nearest rescue (like you - bloomin' miles away!) but sadly she did not survive. Blog archive 17 and 18 June 2009.
