Muddy

Daisy and I would like to say how much we like the state of the roads at present, but we won't because that would be fibbing.

  1. Everywhere is just filthy at the moment isn't it? I'm getting a bit fed up of cleaning boots and shoes. I've been out running this morning and have come home in a similar state to Daisy! X

    1. It doesn't matter whether I go through fields or walk along our quiet lanes, there's so much muck on the ground that it seems to splash up with every step Daisy takes.

  2. Nothing left me mud for getting everywhere you don't want it. x

    1. I suspect Daisy is a lot quicker to clean up than Heidi! How is she today?

  3. Oh I know what you mean Jayne. I have just started taking my daughter's dog a walk every week and she is a low slung basset hound. At 13 years old she is an absolute sweety but she is very good at getting very muddy. I am looking forward to going walking with her in the summer when it is nice and warm and sunny. :)

    1. Oh, enjoy your walks! I love bassets - they might have short legs but they are really just 'vertically challenged large hounds', lovely natured breed :)

  4. Um, yes that is muddy. You've evidently had rain recently. Take care.

    1. Not a huge amount Susan, just the right quantity to make everything muddy but not wash it away!
