Not going for a walk

I had thought if we got a break in Storm Barney then Daisy and I might have a short walk down the road.
She was remarkably pleased to learn I had changed my mind.

No fiddling around in Lightroom this morning - there is absolutely no point trying to make these photos look brighter, sharper or any less wet.

  1. You've certainly copped some rain lately and blogger Lucie had mentioned "Barney" was coming and now I know he's hit.
Castle Rigg on your last post I remember well. We walked up to it from the B & B we stayed in and I loved it. I want to go back. It was a detour for you as it is on the other side of Keswick isn't it? Worth it though and now I want to look out the photos I took. Stay warm and dry and take care.

    1. Hi Susan, if you get on a plane, I will go to Castlerigg with you any time you like:-} It was not much of a detour, just a couple of miles further on the A66 before I turned back.

  2. TIvvy makes me laugh when she stands in the doorway and looks out at the weather before deciding if she really does need to go out or not. Then it's more of a quick dash and back inside.

    1. Her Ladyship is just the same and heaven help us if SHE thinks the weather requires a coat and we haven't presented the appropriate attire :-)

    2. If we are all getting ready to go out, Tivs go gets her harness and presents it to one of us. Who has who trained?
