Told you so . . .

I've been muttering since about May that we will probably have a really cold winter.  Now it seems the Met Office and Daily Telegraph agree with me.

Even ignoring El Nino, there is no residual heat in the ground - our soil never properly warmed up this summer.

  2. Yeah - co-incidentally I've also done a weather posting today. Seems like we're going to have an above average hot summer, so we need to take steps to address that before it happens...

  3. Yes we've been promised a long hot summer with below average rain. El Nino really hits us bad when it comes and we've just had our coldest winter for 25 years, so wonder what is in store. Take care.

    2. We've 2 small rainwater tanks behind the cute shed. We've lived through severe droughts before, so it's just waiting to see what summer brings.
