Beginning to deal with blog-lag

It's only one post but it's a start.

Clicking on Tomatoes takes you to a round-up of last year's crop.

The plan is to publish the posts on or around the dates when the activity actually happened, so that in future years when I look back at the blog, the gaps are minimised and events appear in the right place chronologically.  And we all know that P-L-A-N is a four-letter word at Bag End.

  1. Plan is a four letter word in everyone's vocabulary.

  2. That is an amazing photo - your greenhouse I presume? It makes me want to P-L-A-N to get the most out of my veg growing this year. Can't wait to start.

    1. Thank you Elaine, yes it is my greenhouse. Hasn't always looked this smart but 2014 really was exceptional. Fingers crossed for a repeat this year.

  3. On the plus side, looking at that gorgeous abundance is an absolute tonic on a cold wet Sunday in January! I can almost smell the tomato plants.

    1. You're right Hazel, at this time of year it's easy to forget how lush and verdant everything is in the middle of summer. Given it is currently chucking it down accompanied by a freezing wind, I rather enjoyed all that green :}

  4. Aha, now I know what you did with some of the tomatoes after we saw you. I won't forget your greenhouse in a hurry and I had been meaning to ask and just plain forgot. I'll admit the ones we tried were scrummy. I have "one" tomato so far, but one of the other plants is flowering prolifically. P-L-A-N doesn't always work in this house. That's just life, I've decided. Take care.

    1. Thanks Susan - too funny, you were on my blog at the same time I was on yours :}

      Glad you saw the greenhouse looking decent, and that you enjoyed some fruit.

  5. Hah, I see someone's already pointed out that plan is a 4-letter word in anyone's world. Serves me right for being so behind in my blog reading.

    1. Thanks Sue, I wouldn't worry about behind behind in reading - I'm still 6 months behind with publishing!
