Today's bargain

A king-size duvet cover from the local 'Save the Children' shop.  That's an awful lot of fabric for £3.50 .... backing for at least two full size quilts now it's been through the wash :}

  1. So smart! I love you quilt idea, but I can see curtains, tableclothes, pillow covers, and more. I'm going to start searching for one too. You've inspired me.

    1. You're welcome Cathy :} This one has an M&S label inside which isn't faded, so the fabric has not had much use. I estimate there's a minimum of 8 metres of material.

    1. Susan, there are quilts ready to be finished (backing and batting already sorted), it's just a matter of clearing a block of time for the longarm :{

    1. Nic, if you can sew a straight line you can make patchwork . . . and I know how clever and creative you are :)
