Whinlatter walkies

Just back from the loveliest stroll at Whinlatter, complete silence apart from the occasional bird.

Despite the continued unseasonal dry and warm weather, autumn is definitely approaching.

2½ miles this afternoon added to 3¼ around Sale Fell yesterday has left Small Person a bit tired;  Daisy can hardly keep her eyes open.

  1. Catching up as I've not any internet for about 4/5 days and it's really slow here where we are staying. Sounds like a lovely walk and those toadstools look like the ones we had in our front garden. Take care and I'll pop you an email tomorrow.

  3. Great to see you back Jayne and with a new exciting addition to your family. It looks brilliant, I know you have wanted one for a long time ,,, we love our little house on wheels and only arrived back home yesterday from our latest trip. Fantastic progress with your garden too. Our tomatoes were rubbish this year, the whole crop written off. Over-enthusiastic automatic watering I reckon but others would disagree! Pleased you are feeling better :-) x

  4. Thank you for your email. Daisy looks delightful :-)

I love it when their eyes just cannot stay open a moment longer, our Rosy does that so well.

Whereabouts in Cumbria are you? I used to live in Barrow in Furness, then Askam in Furness and then finally Ulverston before I started my trek around the country turning plots of land into small holdings.
