Tadpoles

The Top Pond has babies!

    1. Thanks Jill, and the lovely thing is that all the frog spawn this year is 'natural' - nothing brought in from friends' ponds.

  4. Ah, even though I had my pond for years and years at the old house, it was never blessed with tadpoles. Probably any that did appear were quickly eaten by the goldfish. Lucky you to have such babies, growing into frogs or toads to patrol the gardens for bugs and such. Great pics.

    1. Thanks Kris, the main reason I won't have fish is because they'd eat all the interesting stuff (and having fish swimming around in the garden would creep me out ...... can't explain it but I really don't like fish in ponds)
