Bag End Cam 6

I really must sort out a routine for regularly checking the Trail cameras.  Leaving it weeks and then having 1,685 pictures to scan through is stupid.  Thankfully today was one of those 'dark, dull, need light on all day' days so Daisy grumbled about the lack of exciting walks and I hunkered down in front of the PC and got caught up on all sorts of desk work interspersed with the mind-numbing task of checking through the Cam pics.

After much deleting, this is the "best of the rest".

    1. Hi Amy, thanks for your visit and comment :} The cameras are incredibly easy to set up - the hard bit is remembering to get the memory card out and sort through the pictures!

  2. Fantastic. That squirrel is certainly athletic. I wonder who won the stand off, second to last?

    1. Morning Jessica, I don't know who "won" but the look on that squirrel's face is priceless.

  3. 1600 photos would certainly take some sorting - but the squirrel and the pheasant together make some great shots :)

    1. Hi Jenny, finding gems like the squirrel/pheasant picture make ploughing through the photos worthwhile.

  4. I've been there - sifting through the shots etc. Your camera produces good stills - which is it? We've had ours for a while so I'm sure things must have improved/ With ours you just have to guess where you are pointing the camera as there is no view finder. The squirrel/s certainly seem to make good use of the pond!

    1. Susan, our camera is a 'Bushnell Trophy Cam 2012 HD Camera'. It does not have a viewfinder either but I don't find it's too difficult to judge where it is pointing.

  5. These are fantastic Jayne. I love the squirrel's expression and the reflections. I wonder if she/he though there was another squirrel in the water. Brill ,,, sitting here with a smile on my face! :-)
