Bag End Cam, 5

For Daisy, the lawn is just one endless game (evidenced by the deletion of HUNDREDS of pictures of her bouncing around with a dead rugby ball in her mouth).

Conveniently out of shot, I'm throwing a ball for Madam.

A local cat is on mouse patrol in the middle of the morning.

Squirrels are busy 'helping' me in the lawn.

A very large hedgehog tours the Cottage Garden every second or third night

  1. Lovely photos of Daisy enjoying herself. I wonder if her sense of smell lets her know of all the other animals who also enjoy her space.

    1. Jo, I am sure it does. She's a right 'sniffer dog' when she goes out.

  2. The pheasant is posing very nicely there :)

  3. We (well, Himself) fixed up a 'badger cam' underneath the tree house....lasted two weeks before the squirrels had eaten through the wires! :-(

    1. Hey Nutty, another reason to desire the demise of grey squirrels?

  4. Must stick ours our again. We had no luck trying to catch whatever was eating the snails.

  6. Great photos and isn't it wonderful the wildlife that visits your garden. Such a lovely place to live. I'll pop into some of those other posts when I have time. I must do a post myself at some stage, but what with all this cleaning and packing and trying to find somewhere to live, I only have the energy to read a few posts in the morning. Take care,

    1. Don't feel you have to comment Susan, I know how busy things are for you at present.

      We're lucky not only to have so much wildlife visit the garden, but not to have to worry about whether any of it is going to try to bite us or poison us:}
