Little Miss Perfect

Torrential rain.  High winds.  Little Miss Perfect agrees with me that the best thing to do is light the wood burner and watch another episode of The West Wing.

What's really lovely is that she already feels secure enough to lay in front of the fire whilst I'm on the computer.  Not exactly in another room because we are so open-plan, but the furthest  away from me that she has been by choice since Tuesday.

  1. Was about to post the same as Jill! She'll be able to hear a pin drop at 50 paces I should think!

    1. Her ears are almost too big for her head John, and she swivels them around when she's listening for something. Comical and utterly endearing!

  2. She's already worked out the best places to be - sofa, bed, rug right in front of the WBS - hasn't she? She looks really relaxed sleeping in front of the stove like that.

    1. She was relaxed Sue, so much so that I was able to leave the room without her following. A first and, I think, incredible that she felt she could settle so quickly.

  3. Looks like she's relaxing already, great that the rescue place let you take her rather than jump through all the hoops. Let's hope she's soon picking up weight and eating you out of house and home - homemade dog biscuits coming up? Actually, I bet they've already been made!

    1. Ali, you know me so well! The biscuits were made on Saturday and accompanied me on our first visit. Daisy definitely approved :}
