It's not a day for being outside

Thank you, Met Office, who have issued a 'weather warning' for the north west.  I think we'd already worked that out for ourselves.

  5. Hi Sue, fairly dreich all day, feels more like November than August.

FFG, Will Hurricane Isaac affect you at all?

Kris, I reckon we've had more thaqn half an inch of rain today, I'll check the measurements tomorrow. Very cozy inside thanks, woodburner lit :

  6. Yes, Bilbo, but shouldn't be more than some tropical storm effects, thanks to the track shift to the west. We were dead center there for a while. Rain and a bit of wind supposed to happen tonight, tomorrow and into Wednesday. We'll be fine.

    1. Sue, the ground is absolutely sodden, there's another 4 inches of rain in the large hole which ought to be our Big Pond. LP will not be doing any digging here this week.
