Jumping up and down, childishly excited!

It's not just the Swiss Chard and Morning Glory responding well to Hobbit's "green paws".

Of the salad crops sown (I have so much difficulty not typing "sewn") on Monday 8th June we already have germination of the Lettuce, Beetroot, Spinach and Broccoli. Only the Carrots are taking their time but the others have emerged in just six days. Really pleased with how thinly I managed to cast the seed.

We've not had proper rain for over three weeks - the cracks on the ground are starting to look like 1976.
